Initialize figure for plotting optimization progress.

Parameters:

• figsize (tuple, optional) – figure size, passed to plt.subplots(), by default (10, 8).

• dpi (int, optional) – dpi of the figure passed to plt.subplots(), by default 100.

Returns:

fig – handle to the figure.
